Good evening Emerald Heights Families,

I hope you are staying safe and warm on these cold snowy days! Here are a few updates for the upcoming weeks. 

Conferences

Conferences will take place on Thursday, February 29th and March 1st . There will be no school those two days. Conferences are a little different than in previous years in that we are inviting all families to attend a spring conference. STEM Showcase

March 21, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

Calling all scientists, engineers & mathematicians! Are you a “mad scientist” or of an inquisitive nature?  Do you like to perform amazing experiments, answer perplexing questions, and delve into the scientific method? Do you love math and want to share ideas with others? Are you an inventor? Do you like to find solutions for everyday problems? If so, come join us for the Emerald Heights P.T.A. sponsored STEM Showcase! Registration is required for students entering a project. Spirit Day 

Next week on Thursday the 22nd, ASB is hosting a spirit day - pajama day! Show your school spirit by wearing your pj's to school!

Restaurant Takeover

Our next takeover is at Blu Berry FroYo.  This is for 5th grade: Kim, Robinson, Tanner, Fields and Repass however, anyone can come and show their support by purchasing a FroYo from Blu Berry between 5-8pm on February 27th. Hope to see you there! 

Heart Challenge

A big shout out to everyone who worked on the Kids Heart Challenge. We raised over $10,000 to support healthy hearts. Thank you for all of your hard work and contributions! I'm so proud of our EM community!

Reminder there is no school on Monday for President's day. We will see you on Tuesday!
