Below are a few upcoming events and reminders—there’s a lot to look forward to in the weeks ahead!


🎨 Winter Art Walk 2026

From desert heat to Arctic snow, where can you go see the coolest art you’ve ever known? The Emerald Heights Winter Art Walk—that’s where!
Mark your calendars for February 5th to join us for this fun, family-friendly event (February 19th if we have a snow day). Each class will display a special art project based on a different biome. Come view the artwork, fill out a passport for a prize, stop by the library for a family photo, and end the evening with a delicious hot cocoa at our Snowflake Café ☕❄️
This event is FREE for everyone!

  • 5:00–5:45 — Last names A–L
  • 5:45–6:30 — Last names M–Z

Spirit Day 1/29 – Color Block Day!

ASB presents Color Block Day on Thursday, January 29th, with color assignments for each grade and staff.

We’re excited to introduce a new school-wide spirit dayColor Block Day!

When:
Thursday, January 29th

How it works: Each grade level (and staff!) wears a different color:
  • Kindergarten — Red
  • Grade 1 — Blue
  • Grade 2 — Orange
  • Grade 3 — Green
  • Grade 4 — Purple
  • Grade 5 — Black

🚌 5th Grade Camp Information

Thank you for your continued support of our 5th grade fundraisers and for the outstanding attendance at Camp Info Night.
Due to parent feedback at the Camp Info Night, GREEN camp packets were sent home today. Please check your child’s folder. You will find a checklist of forms that need to be returned on the front page of the packet.
If you are interested in chaperoning, forms should be returned as soon as possible so teachers can notify chaperones. Chaperone information will come home the week of February 17th. All other paperwork is due by March 2nd.
Important Camp Dates
  • Feb. 12: Chaperone Interest Form Due
  • Week of February 17th: Chaperones notified
  • Mar. 2: All camp paperwork due
  • Week of March 9th: Chaperone training
  • March 16–18: Camp Colman

🎨 Art Walk Volunteers Needed

Thursday, February 5th | 5:00–6:30
We are looking for volunteers for 30-minute to 1-hour shiftsto assist with:
  • 2 volunteers — Entrance & passport handout
  • 4 volunteers — Parking direction
  • 2 volunteers — Prize handout
  • 2 volunteers — Silent auction
  • 2 volunteers — Hot cocoa bar

🍔 Red Robin Fundraiser

Every Thursday (excluding holidays)
Red Robin in Silverdale will donate 20% of food sales back to Emerald Heights PTA when you mention our fundraiser!
Location:
Red Robin – 10455 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale, WA 98383
All day during regular restaurant hours
Dine-In:
Show the fundraiser flyer or mention “Emerald Heights PTA Fundraiser” to your server.
To-Go Orders:
  1. Start your order at redrobin.com/order and select the Silverdale location
  2. Go to the “Fundraisers (To-Go Only)” category
  3. Add the fundraiser item to your bag
  4. Complete your order and pick up your food (curbside available)
