I’m sharing a few updates and reminders with you as we head into the coming weeks, including information about spring conferences and a few other school happenings.
📣 Spring Conferences
Spring conference schedules will be shared soon through ParentSquare by your child’s teacher. Please watch for their message and be sure to sign up for a time that works for your family 📅
At Emerald Heights, some classes hold student-led conferences, which means your child may take a more active role in sharing their learning and progress 🌟 Because of this, spring conferences may look a little different than fall conferences depending on the classroom — but the goal remains the same: meaningful communication about your child’s growth and next steps.

🐄 1st Grade Barnyard Performance
Our 1st grade Barnyard Performance is coming up next week! Join us on Thursday, March 5th for this fun and adorable evening 🐷🐔
The performance will begin at 6:00 PM, and students should plan to arrive by 5:30 PM so we can get everyone settled and ready to go.
We can’t wait to see our 1st graders shine on stage! 🌟

🤖 Calling All 4th & 5th Grade Techies!
Does your child love to build, code, and create? Join us for an amazing adventure in the Emerald Heights Intermediate Robotics Club for grades 4 & 5! Students will dive into the world of coding with Scratch and unleash their creativity as they design and build their very own robots using Edison robots.
When: Tuesdays at 8:15 AM (Before school)
Dates: March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and April 14 & 21

Parents: We need three volunteers to make this club a success! Priority registration is given to students whose family members can volunteer. Please ensure your volunteer paperwork is up to date.
🔬 Calling all inquisitive "mad scientists" and inventors!
Join us for the Emerald Heights P.T.A. Science & STEM Showcase on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Please note that all participants must be physically present during the event to share their projects; dropping off a project and leaving is not permitted. Only students who stay to present their work to the audience will be eligible for certificates, awards, and prizes provided by the Emerald Heights P.T.A., and donated prizes from Bella Bella Cupcakes, Safeway, and Nothing Bundt Cakes.
