Good afternoon Emerald Heights Families,Another week in the books! Thank you to all of our families who joined us for conferences. We truly value the opportunity to partner with you and share the wonderful growth your students are making. Your support makes a difference!

We also want to recognize our 5th graders for representing Emerald Heights so well at camp this week. 🏕️ We heard many compliments about their behavior and teamwork. We hope they had a fantastic experience and made some great memories. Thank you to our 5th grade families for all the preparation and support that helped make this opportunity possible.

We also want to thank our kindergarten families and staff for a wonderful Kindergarten Literacy Night! 📚 It was great to see so many families join us for an evening focused on building early reading skills. Thank you to our reading  staff and kindergarten team for creating such engaging learning activities and to our families for your partnership in supporting our youngest learners.

🗓️ No School – Friday, March 27
Reminder that Friday, March 27 is a non-student day that was built into our calendar as a possible snow make-up day. Since we did not need to use any snow days this year, there will be no school for students. Enjoy the long weekend, EM Hawks! 🦅

🎉✨Spirt Day Next Week
Our ASB students are hosting a Spirit Day next week! Break out your neon colors, big jewelry, and your best 80’s style. Spirit Day will be next Thursday, March 26. We can't wait to see everyone's fun outfits!

🎲🍕 PTA Game Night
Our PTA Game Night is April 22 from 5:30–6:30 PM. Bring your favorite game to play with family and friends and enjoy some pizza and a drink. We hope to see you there for a fun evening together!

🔬🤖 STEM Showcase 2026 (All families welcome!)
Join us for the Emerald Heights PTA Science & STEM Showcase on Thursday, March 26 from 5:30–6:30 PM.

STEM Fun (no registration required):
Come support your EM friends as they present STEM projects and participate in hands-on STEM activities. This free event will include rocket launchers, catapults, marble runs, robotics, and more!

Optional STEM Showcase Entry:
Students may also enter a STEM project to receive awards and have a chance to win prizes. Register at: https://bit.ly/PTAEMSS
Please note that participants must be present to share their projects in order to be eligible for certificates, awards, and prizes provided by the Emerald Heights PTA, Bella Bella Cupcakes, Safeway, and Nothing Bundt Cakes.
