A dark green hawk illustration flies to the left of the text 'EMERALD HEIGHTS Hawks' Updates'.Good afternoon Emerald Heights Families,

It’s hard to believe April is already flying by and we are heading into the final stretch of the school year. Our classrooms are buzzing with learning, and there is so much excitement in the air with springtime events just around the corner! 🌷✨

A big thank you to our PTA and to everyone who helped organize and attend Game Night. It was wonderful to see so many families together—events like this are such an important part of what makes our Emerald Heights community special. 🎲💚

No School Tomorrow
📅 Just a reminder that there is no school tomorrow, April 24, as it is a non-student day. There is also no school next Friday, May 1. We hope you are able to enjoy the long weekends ahead.

📝Important!!  Next Year Enrollment
As in the past, Emerald Heights Elementary School is taking steps in helping to prepare for next year's enrollment. To help in this process, please indicate on this enrollment form whether or not your child(ren) will be returning to Emerald Heights for the 2026-27 school year. If you live in Central Kitsap and Emerald Heights Elementary is not your "home" school or you live outside of our district, please submit a "Transfer Request" found online at www.ckschools.org. If you have questions, please feel free to contact the school office at 360-662-8500.

6th Grade Parent Night
🎓 On Monday, April 27, our 5th grade students and their families are invited to attend 6th Grade Parent Night at their future middle school. This event will take place at all Central Kitsap middle schools from 6:30–7:30 PM. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the transition to middle school and ask any questions you may have.

Do Not Block Prescott and Ravena
🚗 We’ve received a reminder from the county to please avoid blocking the side streets Prescott and Ravena off Pinnacle Court during drop-off and pick-up. Keeping these areas clear ensures that neighborhood residents can safely enter and exit. We appreciate your attention and care with this.

ASB Spirit Day – Identical Day (Next Thursday)
👯‍♀️ Next Thursday, our ASB is hosting a fun spirit day—Identical Day! Similar to twin day, students can coordinate outfits with a friend, a group, or even an entire class. We can’t wait to see the creativity and school spirit on display!
