Good afternoon Emerald Heights Families,We are heading into the last week of May, and the home stretch of the school year is upon us. Our older students have worked hard through SBA testing, younger students have watched butterflies grow and be set free, and across our building, students continue learning, growing, and making progress each day. The sun is shining, summer is coming, and we are going to finish strong!

No School – Monday, May 25
Reminder that there will be no school on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. We honor and remember those who lost their lives in service to our country.

🧥 Lost and Found
Please take a moment, if you have time, to check our lost and found! We have been encouraging students to take a look as well, but there are still many items waiting to be claimed.

💚 PTA Meeting – June 1
Our next PTA meeting will be held after school on June 1 in the library. We hope to see you there!

🎭 Spirit Day – Character Day
ASB is hosting a Spirit Day - Character Day! Students are invited to dress as their favorite character. Please remember costumes should be school appropriate and no props or weapons.

📝 SBA Testing
We have one final week of SBA testing ahead for our 3rd and 5th grade students. Our students have been working hard, and we appreciate your partnership in helping them finish strong!

To support your child in doing their best:
• Please ensure your child arrives at school on time each day
• Avoid scheduling appointments during testing times when possible
• Encourage your child to relax, do their best, and carefully follow directions
• Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and eats a healthy breakfast
