Getting Ready for Our Hawks
A huge thank you to our custodial and maintenance teams, who have been working hard this summer to get Emerald Heights ready for students. We can’t wait for our Hawks to see some of the updates, including our new playground and gym floor!
Important Dates
Kindergarten Round-Up – Tuesday, August 25, 1:00–2:30 p.m.
Meet & Greet – Thursday, August 27, 1:30–3:30 p.m.
Stop by to meet your child’s teacher, see their classroom, and drop off school supplies before the first day.
First Week of School

August 31–September 2: Half days for grades K–5; dismissal at 11:45 a.m. No lunch served.

September 3: Early release for grades 1–5; dismissal at 1:55 p.m. (No kindergarten.)

September 4: Full day for grades 1–5; dismissal at 3:25 p.m. (No kindergarten.)
This gradual start gives students and staff extra time to build relationships, learn routines, and ease back into the school year.
Returning Student Check-In
If you have not yet completed Returning Student Check-In, please do so as soon as possible. You should have received an email with instructions. Completing check-in also confirms for us that your student will be returning to Emerald Heights this fall.
We can’t wait to welcome everyone back and begin another wonderful year together!
