Good afternoon, Emerald Heights Families! It's been another great week at Emerald Heights! November is off to a busy start, with opportunities to celebrate student leadership, honor our veterans, and come together as a school community. Here are a few updates and reminders for the week ahead!

🇺🇸 Veterans Day – No School Wednesday, November 11
There will be no school next Wednesday in honor of Veterans Day. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our military families and to everyone who has served our country.

Our 4th graders will be honoring our veterans with a special performance on Tuesday, November 10, both during the school day and in the evening at 6:00 p.m. We look forward to celebrating and recognizing those who have served!

🗳️ Congratulations to Our New ASB Representatives!
Election Day was an exciting day at Emerald Heights! On November 3, our students voted for their new ASB representatives. I am incredibly proud of every student who stepped up to run for office. From writing speeches and creating campaign posters to standing in front of their peers to deliver their speeches, these students demonstrated tremendous courage and leadership!

Every single candidate did an outstanding job, and I couldn't be prouder of how our election went. Congratulations to our newly elected ASB representatives! We are looking forward to a wonderful year of student leadership!

🌟 November Character Trait – Responsibility!
This month, our schoolwide character trait is Responsibility! We are encouraging students to think about what it means to take ownership of their actions, follow through on commitments, and make responsible choices at school and at home.

We invite you to continue the conversation with your child using this month's Responsibility Family Letter.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Have a wonderful weekend!
